Adding multi-project admins

Adding multi-project admins

Create new users for the upper level of NevronWare platform.

Adding a new admin

navigate to the users tab in your manager and click the "Create a new user button".

A popup will open allowing you to add details for the new admin. Add a name, active email and a temporary password. All users should change their passwords on their first login. They can do so by clicking on their username in the users tab.

There are 3 available user roles:

Nevron Superadmin: Access to all projects.

Operator Superadmin: Acces to projects that are part of the selected operator group.

Project Admin: Access to selected projects.

Below the dropdown menu there is also an additional option (Check-box) “Display access & roles module to the user“. Per default, this option is unchecked (the user does not have rights to create new roles and change access configuration) and the module is not visible to the user.

At the bottom there is an additional check-box titled: “Enable access to all current & future projects“. If this option is checked, then the created user will have access to all current projects and newly created projects. When this option is checked, simultaniously the option “All projects“ is selected in the dropdown menu as well.

Project admin can either login to a specific project they are assigned to, or they can login to the top layer. When logging-in the top layer, the list of projects they have access to is displayed to them. Once the Project admin selects a project, they are redirected to the requested project.

The new admin can login using the provided credentials. After that they will be allowed access depending on selected rights. The login credentials for all projects are the same as their upper level credentials.

Editing an admin

You can edit an admin by clicking on their name in the users list.

To change the admin role, you can select it from the dropdown in the users list.

Deleting an admin

One or multiple admins can be deleted by selecting it in the list and clicking the delete button.

If the Project admin is deleted within a project, the system deletes the user only in that project. On top layer, the project where the user was deleted, is also removed from the active projects Project admin has access to.
