Ordering and booking


NewronWare is a valuable tool that helps you promote your services. To fully utilize its features allow your guests to order and book your products or services directly from their mobile device.

On each item, the ordering and booking options can be enabled but not both at the same time. Here is how they are different:


Ordering

Ordering is a feature that can be added to any item of your choice. It allows the guest to add items to their cart and then send a request to the Nevron manager and staff email at the same time.

The ordering option can be used for room service, food orders, drink orders, restaurant menus, drink orders, amenities, room services and more services that your property offers.

Let’s review the entire ordering process:

Step 1: The item is set as orderable in the Nevron manager

Enable the Oderable option in the item settings.

Step 2: Set the order button text

Set the order button text in the item settings section. Make sure the text is descriptive and not too long. “Add to cart” is a descriptive choice and fits well within the button. Review the item in your app to make sure everything is correct.

Step 1: The guest presses the order button on an item


Step 2: The product or service is added to the guest’s cart

Products marked as Orderable will always be added to the cart. The cart is a useful tool that collects all orders until the guest is ready to place an order. The cart allows guests to add or remove products, and see their order total. In the cart, the guest also has a “Schedule for later” option which will turn the order to a booking request.


Step 3: The guest fills out their room number and email in the cart and places an order

Once an order is placed a notification will be sent to the hotel staff. The notification will appear in Nevron manager but will also be sent to any staff emails set in the item settings. A confirmation email will also be sent to the guest.

Step 4: The hotel reviews and processes the order

In the Orders and reservations tab you have the option to review and confirm the order. Once you select confirmed and click save, a notification will be sent to the customer notifying them that the order has been confirmed.

Step 5: Complete the order

Once you confirm the order, complete it by delivering the items or services to the guest. At this stage you will also have to request a cash or card payment as NevronWare doesn’t provide a pay in the app option. Once the order has been completed set the stage to “completed”.


Booking

Booking is a feature that can be added to any item of your choice. It allows the guest to add items to their cart and then send a request to the Nevron manager and staff email at the same time.

The booking option can be used for restaurant reservations, spa reservations, food orders, dinner spot reservations, gym class reservations and more services that your property offers.

Booking process

Step 1: The guest presses the book button on an item


Step 2: The booking process is initiated


A booking page open where the guest is asked to fill in some details about their booking. The required fields are:

  • Delivery day
  • Delivery time
  • First and last name
  • contact information

Step 3: The hotel receives a booking request

Once an booking is requested a notification will be sent to the hotel staff. The notification will appear in Nevron manager but will also be sent to any staff emails set in the item settings. A confirmation email will also be sent to the guest.

Step 4: The hotel reviews and processes the order

In the Orders and reservations tab you have to option to review and confirm the order. You will be asked to set a time slot for the guest. You can also see what time slot the guest requested. You can add multiple available time slots for a guest to choose from. Once you click the save button, a notification email will be sent asking the guest to confirm their time slot.

When the time slot is selected and confirmed, you can select the confirmed option in the dropdown menu.

Step 5: Complete the order

Once you confirm the order, complete it by delivering the items or services to the guest at the confirmed time slot. At this stage you will also have to request a cash or card payment as NevronWare doesn’t provide a pay in the app option. Once the order has been completed set the stage to “completed”.


Always save your changes: Once you've finalized the details, click on the "Save" button to apply and save all of your changes.
