How to add a category

Step 1: Select a digital Catalog service

From the left side menu, choose any digital catalog service. A window will display with three options: List, Configuration, and Settings. Select the Configuration tab.

Default category in the Configuration tab

In the Configuration tab, you will see a category named “All” This is a default category. All of the items need to be connected to the main category. We suggest naming this category the same name as your Catalog, to make it easier to recognize.

Step 2: Creating a new category

To add a sub-category that will be displayed in the mobile app click the + button in the sub-categories tab. This will open a popup window. Select a descriptive name for your new category. Click “Next” to create the category.

Keep in mind that an item will not display unless a main and a sub category are assigned. This means that the item should always have at least 2 categories assigned.
