Managing VOD categories

How to add a new VOD category

We suggest categorizing movies by type. For example: Action, Documentary, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and similar.

Step 1: Select a VOD list

From the left side menu, choose any VOD list. This will open a new window displaying three options: List, Configuration, and Settings.

Step 2: Locate the configuration

The List page is shown by default. Click the Configuration button on the top to access the correct window.

Step 3: Add a new category

Press the "Add" button to start adding a new category. A popup window will appear asking you to input the name of the new category. Click Next to finish the process.

Once a category is created, you have the options to edit the name, description, and image of the selected category.

Step 4: Link movies to your new category

You can add items to a category by scrolling down in your opened category and clicking the + button in the “Items” section. A popup window will open where you can check all of the channels you want to add to your category. Click link to add the items.

Once the items are included in a category, they will be displayed in the “Items” list.

How to allocate categories within a movie section

There is also an option to assign categories to an item in the item settings section. To do that navigate to the TV channel you want to categorize and locate the “Package & categories” section.

By clicking on the categories window, a dropdown will appear where you can select and deselect as many categories as you like.
