Packages
Packages can be used to differentiate between different types of guests.
If you wish to show the content to all of your guests, you only need the Public package. Make sure it has the public option enabled and assign it to all of your items.

If you wish to add different types of customers follow the guide below.
For example: The property accepts Regular and VIP guests. Packages can be assigned to either users or devices (rooms). The VIP guests have the option of room service, but the regular guests do not. Let’s follow this example to set up the packages and content to enable this feature.
Adding different packages and content
Step 1: Click the “Add” button
Since we already have a “Public” package on the list, let’s use that as a package for regular guests. A popup will appear asking you to name the package. Let’s name it VIP.

Step 2: Add the VIP content
Open the VIP package and click the “+” button in the Selected items section.

In the popup window, select all of the content that should only be visible to VIP guests. In this case, it is room service items.

Step 3: Remove the items from the public package
If the items are also part of the public package they will still be available to regular guests. To prevent that, open the public package and scroll down to find the items you want to hide. Click the red x next to the item name to remove it from the list.
Step 4: Review the content
To make sure the items have the correct package assigned by opening the item editing page 📄 Item configuration. In the Packages & categories section, you should see the correct package assigned.

Step 5: Assign the packages to an account
Make sure you have a VIP account in your account list. 📄 Accounts
Make sure the VIP account has both the public and VIP packages assigned. Remember to add the correct devices (VIP rooms) and users (VIP guests) to the package. You can do this by clicking the “+” button in each section.

With this setup, the VIP content that we assigned to the package will be visible on all linked devices and to all linked users. One of these conditions is enough, so you don’t need to assign both.
